{"id":3054,"date":"2012-12-31T13:50:15","date_gmt":"2012-12-31T03:50:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.belly.net.au\/?p=3054"},"modified":"2013-01-02T13:50:58","modified_gmt":"2013-01-02T03:50:58","slug":"real-food-panel-2012-belly-faves","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.belly.net.au\/?p=3054","title":{"rendered":"real food panel &#038; 2012 belly faves"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On air on Byron Bay&#8217;s bayfm 99.9 community radio on 31 December 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Happy New Year dear belly listeners.\u00a0 For this last show of the year I found a few juicy bits from 2012 (actually I found so many that I think I will try to fit in a few more in the coming weeks).\u00a0 We had party nibble suggestions from Sicily (yum) and from scientists (hmmm).\u00a0 And I was finally able to dedicate most of an hour to my favourite 2012 Byron Bay writers festival panel.\u00a0 I really wanted to bring you most of the panel discussion so you could follow the thoughts,\u00a0 the philosophical musings, the enthusiastic book recommendations, &amp; the entertaining arguments.\u00a0 The topic (in theory) was &#8216;real food&#8217;, the participants Gay Bilson, Charlotte Wood, and Mungo MacCallum, chaired by Caroline Baum.\u00a0 If you missed any of it, the audio links are below.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>PARTY FOOD\/NEW YEAR NIBBLES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I just had Christmas with my mum Franca, and with Rosaria,Enzo,Anita,Francesco,Augusto &amp; Augusto Mario and lots of dogs, a mix of Northern &amp; Southern Italians, so a big variety of delicious dishes on the Christmas table, finishing with colourful Sicilian cassata.
